Welcome to Woolooga State School, a place where quality and personalised education from Prep to Year 6 is paramount. Situated 37km NW of Gympie, Woolooga is a calm and peaceful area that sits within the North Coast Region.
As a small school with an enrolment of 17 students, each student is provided with reading and writing goals in order to develop their individual literacy skills. Over the past few years, reading has been a key focus area of learning as this assists students in developing their decoding and comprehension skills across all learning areas.
Our school offers a personalised, multi-age curriculum, aimed at ensuring each and every student is reaching their full potential in all learning areas. We also offer a rich learning environment aimed at developing not only literacy and numeracy skills across all learning areas, but we have a strong and unrelenting focus on social emotional learning with the aim of ensuring that our students are happy, healthy and confident.
All learning areas are provided with the latest and up-to-date technologies to reflect an ever-evolving world. Each building contains wireless technology, 1:1 iPad and computer access, interactive touch screens, as well as robotics, coding and digital technology resources. Our school is well equipped with sporting equipment, as well as a state-of-the-art undercover basketball and tennis court.
